The Gorjus Life of Buddah

What it's really like to be a famous nobody. But at least I'm famous. Timing is everything. I create my own opportunities. Get in where you fit in. Patience is a virtue. I am not a virtuous person. At least I don't think I should admit it. Okay. I'm damn lucky to be where I am today. It's a great time to be alive. God is everything. We are to. Here is my connection to you.

The Gorjus Life of Buddah

Follow omigodlook on TwitterOkay, this is my first blog op. Thanks to Blogger, I'm now blogging. haha. I've been so busy trying to make an impact in entertainment in this very lily town. All I can say is, keep on keepin on. I started out as a "dancer", back in the eighties. It was hip hop and the way it made me feel. Music has always been so much a part of my life. I didn't take up comedy and poetry until much later. somewhere around the mid-nineties, I came home from Germany, where i served my country in the United States Air Force as a soldier. It was such a wild time in my life. To be young black and single, so far away from home, was a blast. I saw some really great shows over there, Ice Cube and the Lynch Mob was my favorite show. I saw Chuck Brown, The Godfather of GoGo music, at a cool ass club called Cookies in downtown Frankfurt Motoring in Germany. cover title. Am Main. My friend, Gerald Davis met with him after the show and spoke with him briefly about his music and the entertainment business. I was hooked. I wanted to be like that guy. Older, Cooler and Forever young in his music. Damn, I had the "itch" to be on stage. When I came home from the military, it all started with my best friend "Bird" aka Dexter Wingate. We used to hang out a this cool ass bar, The Uptown Lounge, and got to know a few local musicians. A few of the bar's regular patrons and bartenders, named "Chief", "Clay", "Falcon", and "Shawn. Their band was called, Space Cookie. They were what you would call progressive punk music. We saw them perform and realized, music is music. They had such a great drummer and bassist, who could play any beats we liked in hip hop. Our music of choice for the better part of our lives. It went over so well at that jam session, they invited us back in the hopes to do a few songs with them for their New Years Eve show @ the Atomic Music Hall. I can only remember one of the song titles. "I know your name, Bitch!". It was directed at those oh so friendly drunk sorostitutes you meet in bars. the ones who act like they just love them some~ Buddah. Yea, you guessed it. grudge fuck music was born. The females that know you when they want to flash some side boob for a cig types. I bet her name was probably Becky. It's all good Becky, look at me know. lol I'm not really laughing out loud, but I like typing LOL. Well, she is the object of , not so much fury, but ridicule is a better term. Fuck her and her lame homegirls. I won't pay for kitty. Not then and definitely not now. I'm so clever. I thought I figured it out. I was twenty five at the time. Not yet a man, but still a soldier at heart. I was so spoiled by my time in the military, where women really wanted a piece of you. If you know what i mean. Chuckling to myself. Like I'm sexy or something. I'm not. But, I am anyway. I guess. Well, I thought I was the new smelly shit back then. I just came back from the future. Today is June 8th, 2010. Becky hasn't changed. Now I'm working on my own band. We are Gorjus BBC. Big Black Chocolates. or Big Brown cock. it'll be hilarious. I'm serious about my comedy. No, seriously. Ok, I'm a comedian/poet/emcee/host from hell. In my mind, which is like a movie, I am the star of it. My Life. my Music. My gift to my inner circle is to believe in one's self. Almost to the point of, please shut the fuck up. If I do music, poetry, art, comedy and any other opportunity to share a part of my self with my community, by being what I like to call an Ambassador of Good Energy. I believe in you as much as I belive in myself. Thanks for listening and thanks to me for sharing. I hope you stay tuned. I'm a trip.
